609 petrol pumps sealed in Pakistan for selling smuggled oil

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Under the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, 609 petrol pumps have been sealed and about 4.5 million litres of Petrol & Diesel have been seized in the campaign against oil smugglers in the Country.
The campaign against oil smuggling led by the Ministry of Interior is continuing unabated and showing significantly good results.
If the sealed petrol pumps do not show valid documentation within seven days of sealing, these will be confiscated by the State under the Customs Act along with all properties of the owners as it would be deemed that these properties were acquired with smuggling proceeds.

Govt committed to promoting interfaith harmony in country: Information Minister

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Syed Shibli Faraz says government is committed to promoting interfaith harmony in the country.
Addressing a special ceremony organized by Radio Pakistan in connection with Christmas and New Year celebrations in Islamabad on Thursday, he said all the minorities enjoy equal rights in Pakistan.
The Minister said the basic teaching of every religion is promotion of interfaith harmony, respect and love among the people.
Shibli Faraz appreciated Director General Radio Pakistan Ambreen Jan on organizing the colorful event to celebrate Christmas.

India adamant in attempts to destabilize Pakistan: Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Syed Shibli Faraz has said that India has consistently been trying to undermine and destabilize Pakistan.
In his address at a Seminar titled “Understanding Hindutva Mindset and Indian Hegemonic Aspirations” held in Islamabad on Wednesday, the minister said that Pakistan presents its perspective on regional issues on the basis of facts whereas India distorts facts and spreads false propaganda against Pakistan as vindicated in a recent report by EU DisinfoLab.
The information minister also regretted that the world is yet silent over such acts by India.
