Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer I Enrique Paderes said both institutions have already identified their respective projects and programs, which will be the focus of the said partnership.
The official signing of the memorandum of agreement between the two agencies is scheduled on January 28, 2021.
“We have decided to team up with CPSU to strengthen our information, education and communication strategies to reach a wider scope of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and to encourage various sectors to continue providing support for the DAR to improve the implementation of CARP in Negros Occidental,” Paderes said in a statement.
Paderes noted that among the projects to be implemented is the provision of assistance by the CPSU to the DAR through the introduction of useful and productive farming and agriculture technologies to help boost the household income of ARBs Organizations (ARBOs) in south Negros Occidental.
