This week’s Liberal Media Scream turns to the sloppy 60 Minutes report last week on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the TV news magazine’s smug refusal to admit its reporting and editing failures in a story a Washington Post media critic called “a plume of innuendo.”

Perhaps you too were shocked by the booming sound of jets flying over DC around 11:10 AM Friday morning. The planes were participating in a flyover during a ceremony commemorating the opening of the National World War I Memorial in Pershing Park.
The pilots performing the fly-by through northwest DC are members of the 94th Fighter Squadron, a unit recognized for their success during WWI. Joe Lowry, who serves as the House of Representatives’ director of emergency preparedness, tweeted that the two planes were F-22 Raptors.
Heads up for those in DC along the Mall later today. At 11:10AM, two F-22 Raptors will conduct a flyover for the dedication of the new World War I Memorial in the area of 14th Street (Freedom Plaza/Pershing Park). Free airshow! @HelicoptersofDCpic.twitter.com/znJQqmJiJf

correspondent Olivia Nuzzi put Press Secretary Jen Psaki on the defensive as she asked about whether the Biden administration’s continued mask usage despite having been vaccinated and discouragement of social interaction has contributed to vaccine hesitancy.
Nuzzi was following up on questions from Yahoo! News’s Brittany Shepherd about vaccine hesitancy when she wondered whether the White House has contributed to it with “maybe [a] pessimistic message towards some Americans” who
“see vaccinated people in the cabinet or the President continuing to wear masks around each other or hearing that things won’t be back to normal as the vaccine continues to be distributed.”

This week’s Liberal Media Scream shows the lockstep reactionaryism to Georgia’s new election reform law that actually expands some voting protections but is apparently too difficult for critics to read.
