Deputies with the Onslow County Sheriff s Office have arrested two people accused of stealing auto parts in Onslow County and surrounding areas, while a third person has charges pending.
On Feb. 17 deputies received a report of stolen catalytic converters from work vehicles on Blue Creek School Road. Investigators checked surveillance footage and observed multiple individuals taking the catalytic converters from vehicles in the parking lot.
After meeting with surrounding agencies the same day, they learned the same suspects were responsible for catalytic converter thefts in Onslow, Pender, Duplin and Sampson Counties.
Investigators identified the suspects as Christian Oryan Houston of Bland School Road in Harrells, NC and Britney Thaila Guzman,of Clinton, NC, both 19-years-old. The OCSO and Pender County Sheriff s arrested the pair and charged them with felony motor vehicle parts theft, felony conspiracy and misdemeanor Injury to personal property.
