(WO) The first turbine at the Dogger Bank wind farm in the British North Sea has generated power, supplying electricity to British homes, according to a statement from Equinor on October 10.
The UK’s North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) has granted its development and production consent for the Rosebank oil and gas field, located in the British North Sea, north-west of the Shetland Islands. The go-ahead has been given by the regulator to Norway’s Equinor (operator, 80% share) and the UK’s Ithaca Energy (20%).
Ithaca Energy agreed to acquire Shell s 30% stake to take full control of the undeveloped Cambo oil and gas field in the West of Shetland region of the British North Sea, the smaller oil producer.
