According to Estonia’s Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, the Estonian instructors will train Ukrainian volunteers at the U.K.’s military bases and continue cooperating with Ukrainian soldiers under the EU’s EUMAM training mission in Estonia.
Over 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers have received training in facilities of more than 30 partner countries in less than two years, Interfax-Ukraine reported on Nov. 21, citing Major General Oleksandr Kyrylenko, the deputy chief of the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces.
The EU believes it is unlikely to deliver all pledged 1 million artillery shells to Ukraine by the March 2024 target, Bloomberg reported on Nov. 10, citing undisclosed sources. According to a plan approved by the EU in March, the bloc would provide Ukraine with a million shells within a span of a year. Bloomberg reported earlier in October that with more than half of the allocated time gone, the EU has delivered only 30% of planned supplies and risks missing its target.
To openly place British military forces in Ukraine has only one possible aim: to provide a <em>casus belli</em> by the sacrifice of NATO military personnel. A third world war is the only logical outcome.
