Its the morning in sydney, and people are waking up to what authorities are calling a catastrophic threat its the morning in sydney, and people are waking up of dangerfrom bushfires thats the highest level of warning. And the day coming is predicted to be the worst since these fires began several weeks ago. Hot temperatures and strong winds in New South Wales are the reason why this threat level is being used in sydney. There are bush fires in queensland too. And we already know how desvtasting these fires can be. These are pictures from the last week. New south wales is already under a state of emergency. That gives the fire Service Special powers to evacuate property and turn off power. Fire crews have come from all over australia and new zealand to help. The fires escalated on friday. 150 homes were destroyed and three people died. This footage gives you a sense of the danger people and Fire Fighters are facing.
