Encouraging people to return to Bristol s high streets

Encouraging people to return to Bristol’s high streets By Charlie Watts, Sunday Apr 11, 2021 Murals in Broadmead and Cabot Circus and hearts in three city centre parks are part of a new campaign inviting people back to Bristol’s high streets now that coronavirus restrictions have eased. The 365 hearts in College Green, Queen Square and Castle Park are part of the #lovebristol campaign, promoting the city’s recovery from the pandemic. The hearts were created by a team of artists from street art festival Upfest, and are spaced two metres apart so people can sit in their households and groups of six.
