ANN ARBOR, MI Ann Arbor aims to plant 10,000 trees on private properties by 2030.
The “10,000 Trees Initiative” is part of the city’s goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and in doing so, Ann Arbor is offering residents free trees to plant on their property, according to their website. Residents will have to register for a “FreeTree” event, request a tree and pick it up from the distribution site.
