The Wheelers would begin the contest pretty well scoring the first four points and going toe to toe with the Mustangs. At one point, both teams would be tied up at 11 points in the first quarter with Aleah Hermensen and Jaci Christensen leading the charge. But, the Mustangs were able to close out the first quarter with a 7-0 run to lead it 18-11.
