The warning has been issued about parking on Bridgnorth s High Street
Shropshire Council has issued a reminder that parking is restricted on High Street in Bridgnorth – to allow the weekly outdoor market to take place.
The rules mean motorists must not use the parking bays between 6.30am and 6pm on Saturdays, but during the third lockdown there has been an increase in drivers ignoring the restrictions.
A spokesman for the council said that while it did not cause significant issues because the market was operating at a reduced capacity, it is now posing a problem.

The Bridgnorth Walk and Marathon 2019
Subject to coronavirus restrictions, the Bridgnorth Walk and Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 12.
The event, which has run for more than 50 years and is organised by the Bridgnorth Lions, usually takes place at the end of May.
Typically, more than £100,000 is raised for a variety of local and national charities and good causes when it takes place every year.
It last took place in 2019, with last year s event falling victim to the pandemic.
