CHISHOLM—The Chisholm City Council last week approved grant requests aimed at expanding opportunities for area youth to get involved in the sport of mountain biking.
The 85-foot statue, depicting an ordinary miner standing atop steel girders, is an Iron Range landmark and a tribute to the tenaciousness of the late Veda Ponikvar.
