Tonight broke big news about the federal criminal investigation that has dogged new Jersey Republican governor Chris Christie for nearly a year now. Wnbcs jonathan dienst reporting late tonight while federal prosecutors in new jersey continue to investigate the shutdown of lanes onto the George Washington bridge last year, as some still unexplained act of political retribution, federal officials tell wnbc tonight that those investigations thus farce have found no evidence that governor Chris Christie personally had advance knowledge of the shutdown plot nor have they found evidence that he took part in the plot personally.
