A push in Millstreet and Dromtariffe to support the Maureen O Sullivan Hamper Packers and Food Parcels for the Homeless at Christmas initiative has met with a terrific response.
Co-ordinator Margaret Crean highlighted that nobody should encounter food poverty at any point during the year but, unfortunately, it seems to be more prevalent during the festive period. The appeal is aimed at the public who would like to make a donation of a hamper or food parcel and give back to those most in need at Christmas.
