Davis Dominates AHRMA Vintage Cup Series at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway (Elora, Tennessee) Back-to-back wins put Jesse Davis closer to the championship points lead in the 2022 American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Cup. His two victories were during rounds 21 and 22 of the Bridgestone Tires AHRMA National Historic Cup Roadracing Series at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway, Munford, Alabama, October 1 and 2. The 2022 Vintage Cup, sponsored by RoadracingWorld.com, features the Vintage Superbike Heavyweight class. Davis, from Long Beach, California, won both rounds on his 1982 Yamaha XV920R. On Saturday, Davis got the holeshot and held the lead until the checkered flag. Kevin Rammer, on his 1982 Honda CB650SC from Newnan, Georgia, took second, with Andre Hauer of Houston, Texas riding his 1981 Kawasaki GPZ550, rounding out the podium.
