The Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF) held its annual Diversity Awards and Charter Signing Ceremony on November 29 in Budapest, bringing together prominent players of the local business sphere.
Bridgestone Tatabánya is the Hungarian pride of the famous Japanese tire company. Its 1,300 employees already use modern technology and environmentally friendly solutions in what is set to become a smart factory by 2030. The company has been awarded “Family Friendly Workplace” and “Factory of the Year” titles multiple times. Besides being a key player in the Hungarian automotive sector, managing director Melinda Topolcsik regularly takes a stand on social issues such as sustainability, road safety, workers’ health, and support for the local communities.
Japanese tire maker Bridgestone celebrated the 15th anniversary of its local unit at the Bridgestone base in Környe, in north-western Hungary, on Friday.
