A NEW nursery is to be built beside an Alness primary school after Highland Council consultations addressed concerns over road safety for pedestrians.
The local authorityâs own application to install modular classrooms at Bridgend Primary School was approved by planning officials after a risk assessment and other investigations.
The existing nursery was previously housed within two classrooms in the main building, but the 48 youngsters will now have dedicated portacabin-style buildings and covered play areas of their own.
