LEMONT, IL Construction work on Kingery Highway in Lemont will start again on Monday, according to a release from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The work includes repairs to the bridge carrying Kingery Highway over the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal in Lemont.
IDOT said daytime lane closures will take place on the highway. Starting at 9 a.m. Monday, northbound Kingery will be reduced to a single lane, from the 107th Street and Archer Avenue intersection to just before Bluff Road. The daytime closures will remain in place for two weeks, IDOT said.
