A firebug has been charged with murder in connection to the 2021 arson death of a Queens woman – which occurred the same day she allegedly shoved a man in an anti-Asian subway attack, authorities said.
Firefighters found Lavina Nolley inside the 12th St. apartment in Hunter’s Point which is part of NYCHA’s Queens Bridge North Houses after extinguishing the 6:15 p.m. blaze on Dec. 9, cops said.
Clarence Smith, 37, attacked the two smoke eaters as they were giving medical assistance to someone at the Queens Bridge North Houses on 10th St. in Long Island City Tuesday afternoon.
