NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - People who live in New Orleans East are tired of being scared. They say the violence that unfolds around them every day is too much.
“We’ve been victims of crime three times,” says Monique Cook.
“The community has concerns. They have demands and this is our call for help,” says Anthony Jackson.
On this MLK day, they say now is the perfect time to stand up and demand change.
