A FRESHWATER tyre manufacturer has helped to restore the natural beauty of Briddlesford Woods. The nature reserve home to a number of rare species, including hazel dormice and red squirrels had been the subject of illegal fly-tipping in recent months. Chris Plant and his team at Tyres of Wight stepped in on Thursday (December 17) to clear the debris for free. Wildlife Charity People s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES), which has owned Briddlesford Woods since 1992, said: Rubbish was being dumped on our ancient woodland reserve in Briddlesford.
