Thieves break into vehicle and steal doorbell from property in Swanage

POLICE are warning homeowners and motorists of potential theft after a vehicle was broken into and a doorbell was stolen from a property. According to police, the vehicle break-in happened during the morning of May 7 (Friday) in Brickyard Close, Swanage. On the same morning, officers received reports of a Ring  video doorbell being stolen from a property in Durberville Drive. A Dorset Police spokesman said: A Ring video doorbell was taken from an address on Durberville Drive. The doorbell s wires had been cut. A vehicle was also broken into at Brickyard Close and some small items were taken from inside.
