Grey-Bruce’s board of health has “grave concerns” about “misleading assertions” raised by Coun. John Tamming that it worries are undermining public confidence in the region’s health unit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those comments are included in a letter to city councillors, signed by health board chair and Hanover Mayor Sue Paterson, that was read aloud during Monday’s city council meeting.

“With this behaviour, Mr. Tamming has stepped outside the rules of decency, reducing overall confidence in the health unit as the leading agency for the management of the COVID-19 emergency,” says the April 19 letter.
