ALLENTOWN – The parents of two sisters killed in a house fire in Hellertown last April allege the girls’ hoverboard ignited while charging and caused the fatal blaze, and have sued the manufacturer and retailer of the device.
The suit, filed in U.S. Eastern District Court, alleges the defendants “knowingly, purposely and consciously concealed their knowledge of these serious dangers.”
A law firm representing the parents of two young girls, ages 15 and 10, has filed a lawsuit against Walmart and a company that makes hoverboards in connection with a fire that claimed the lives of the two girls.
