Two men arrested for violating rules | News, Sports, Jobs

Dec 17, 2020 A 34-year-old Wailuku man was arrested Sunday for violating his quarantine order after traveling from Oahu, police said. Jordan Ware posted $2,000 bail for violating public health emergency rules. Ware arrived on Maui from Oahu on Dec. 6. He did not have a negative, pre-travel COVID-19 test and was subject to quarantine until Saturday. The Maui police quarantine reporting email received multiple tips last week relaying that Ware was violating his quarantine, police said. One such report alleged that Ware was seen attending a party at Kepaniwai Park on Dec. 12. Another man who traveled to Maui from Seattle was arrested Monday for violating public health emergency rules.
