Police: Bensalem man disseminated child pornography
A Bensalem man is accused of disseminating child pornography from his home, according to police.
On Friday, Brian Pettit, 52, was arraigned on charges alleging he was sharing the images from his computer last month.
Pettit is charged with disseminating child pornography, possessing child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility.
As of Tuesday he remained in Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10% of $500,000 bail.
Bensalem police began investigating in March, when an undercover officer was able to download suspected child pornography from an IP address, later found to be Pettit s, according to court documents.
