S. , the world powers, they did everything they could on coercion strategies against iran. Multilateral sanctions. U. N. Sanctions. The war against iran. Even using chemical weapons. They all supported the weapons of mass destruction against iranians. They all supported the use of weapons of mass destructions against iranians. 100,000 uranium and 100,000 iranians were killed or injured. No other country, and the past 35 years, has been under so much pressure and sanctions orchestrated by the u. S. However, after 35 years, everybody today is crying and complaining, why is iran so stable . White ironic so powerful why iran is so powerful . Iran is everywhere. This is evidence

What can we do to keep it in focus so that we have these requests . What do you look into your crystal ball, to give it life . Well, i hope that the issue does not go away. The mandate of 2016 is not going away regardless of who our next president is. The important point is that this does point to the good issues in the history of this country. It is a moment where there are a lot of people in this room watching. We do not usually have a conversation about narrow regulations and capstone policies that gets the attention of the press and the public at large. I think we get deemed in terms of the accjc because were not smooth, democracy is not smooth. You have arguments, you have debates, but at the end of the day you come out with an outcome that is justified. Were improving these accelerated skills courses so students who, yes, they did take three, four, five, six semesters to get out of basic skills. Now were going to hopefully see them get out of their basic skills courses a lot faster and that will lead to healthier outcomes. And so while were not perfect and i dont think any institution s we were at least trying to make an institution that is that has Educational Equity as well. But i also get back to the part that you cant have any student equity if you dont have access. There is no achievement to excel in the classroom. applause and, so, you know, the impact in terms of city college of San Francisco is you can demonstrate it. Think that one service we might not need in terms of prioritization of resources is our real estate department. [laughter] i think we have a pretty good understanding of how valuable city college is in the altruistic part and the monetary part as well. And i dont think were for sale so i dont really need that applause i would just humbly request that we can, you know, shift the resources to other things other than our real estate. Their esl classes is just as important as a person thats getting their engineering degree or looking to transfer to u. C. Berkeley or to stanford. Those are our values. These Mission Statement might not have been to what they liked, but it was an expression of our values as san franciscans that we think everybody dunkelberg this should be a campus thats for everybody. And there were comments about our fiscal management that we have to say that city college is actually the First College [speaker not understood] to be the First College to return to prerecession revenues thanks to the parcel tax and prop 30, we were on track to get all the money that we lost back. So, i just wanted to clear some of that up first. The reason i believe that were partially here is this is a difference of our values. We believe that we love our Second Chance program. It is a program that helps ex offenders get out of the criminal Justice System return to city college, hopefully get their degree, and continue
