They said the suspect was combative and hostile can they called Alameda County sheriffs for help. As the paramedics wither trying were trying to transport the suspect. He broke free and ran back into the home. They went inside the home and thats when the man came out swinging with a baseball bat. He violently attacks the sergeant hitting him with the baseball bat and attempting to hit him again and thats when shots were fired.
