A Stoughton man was among eight people arrested Thursday in connection with a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking ring operating between California and New England, according to the U.S. Attorney s Office in Boston.
Investigators say they seized about 152 pounds of methamphetamine, a record amount, during the investigation, via controlled purchases, motor-vehicle stops and package seizures, Acting United States Attorney Nathaniel R. Mendell said in a news release.
Edison Klotz, 40, and six others were indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Klotz also was charged with distribution of and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine - aiding and abetting,

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) – FBI Boston Division announced Friday eight people have been arrested and charged in connection with a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking ring operating between California and New England.
Investigators seized about 152 pounds of methamphetamine during the investigation, from controlled purchases, motor vehicle stops and package seizures.
The following subjects were indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine:
· Reshat Alkayisi, 60, a Turkish national residing in Coventry, R.I.;
· Brian Keleman, 52, of Woonsocket, R.I.;
· Robyn Costa, 35, of Whitman, Mass.;
· Eric Daneault, 45, of Manchester, N.H.:

BOSTON, MA Eight individuals were charged and arrested on Thursday in connection with a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking ring operating between California and New England.
Investigators seized approximately 152 pounds of methamphetamine throughout the investigation from controlled purchases, motor vehicle stops, and package seizures.
Two of the people charged are from New Hampshire, Eric Daneault, 45, of Manchester, N.H, and Andre Watson, 45, of Nashua, N.H.
