astounding story. nearby neighbors say they never even heard this plane crash, one his name is larry wilkins, finished watching the news when he heard a faint knock on his door. she thought her arm was broke. and her left foot was hurting pretty bad. she was bare footed by the way. she had one sock on her feet and she walked all that distance bare footed. wilkins says the 7-year-old girl managed to walk 3/4 of a mile from the crash site to his house through very rough terrain to get help. he says she had a bloody nose and her legs were scratched. she simply said she had been in a plane crash and her parents were dead. authorities identified the four victims in the crash as 48-year-old marty gusler his wife kimberly and 9-year-old daughter piper and her cousin sierra wilder. all four were from nashville, illinois. the plane was flying from florida to illinois when the pilot reported engine trouble in the small twin engine plane. a short time later it crashed in southwest
room with the latest on the investigation. brian. hi, jamie. eight days after wall street journal reporter david bird went missing in long hill township new jersey, police are be fundamentaled by how little they know about his disappearance. they say they have no evidence of foul play. david and his wife, nancy, were putting away christmas decorations last saturday afternoon in their home when about 4:30 p.m., david put on his red jacket and told his wife he wanted to take a quick walk before it rained. there is no sign of david. hundreds of volunteers have taken part in the around the clock search for david. police are using helicopters, divers in the river. the search is concentrated around a wooded area called hicks track and other nearby routes that david was known to walk or hike. we suspect that the individual may have went out on the ice at some point at night and may have fell through. so using the camera, we probed through to see if he s lodged
