A company that was slated to open at the American Dream is now facing a lawsuit for breaching its contract with the mall owner, as a number of construction companies continue to file liens against the property, saying they are owed nearly $41 million for work completed at the entertainment complex.
Ameream, LLC, the Triple Five company that owns the American Dream site in East Rutherford, filed a complaint in Superior Court in Bergen County last month against Villa Restaurant Group, a Morristown-based restaurant operator and franchisor with 350 food locations worldwide, mainly in airports and malls.
