The Woodside Town Council will discuss reducing its membership from seven to five members, as it transitions to a "by-district" system for electing council members, at a meeting on Tuesday, March 29.
The town of Woodside is blocking new housing from being built under a new state law, arguing the residential growth would encroach on the habitats of mountain lions, a protected species.
After two days of manually recounting ballots, Measure A has still passed, the county Elections Office said. The Woodside initiative changes land use restrictions on two sites in the Town Center area.
