Coming off winning the Canadian Masters Curling Championship, Al Hackner and Frank Morrisette picked up right where they left off this past weekend in Winnipeg.
After nearly 10 years in Geraldton, the three-time Northern Ontario junior champion is sitting in second place in Tbaytel Major League of Curling play, at 4-1.
Johnston foursome broke open a 1-1 tied with two in the fifth and went on to down Ron Rosengren's team 5-3 to open the Tbaytel Major League of Curling season at Port Arthur Curling Club.
