Brockton student receives international attention for this science fair project The dream of a father from the island of St. Lucia was achieved seeing his son receive international recognition for his hard work. Brockton High School student Christian Nichols recently won the Frederick P. Fish Patent Award at the International Science and Engineering Fair. The award includes $50,000 to cover legal fees and services to patent his artificial intelligence model that can identify fossils. That child works so hard, he s up late, he studies hard.
