Cases Reported to the NYS School COVID Report Card This Week:
● JFK
● WMS
have been notified.
Student - Infectious on school grounds on 4/20, 4/21, 4/22, 4/23. All contacts of
this individual have been notified.
● BHS:
Student - In school while infectious on 4/26. All contacts of this individual have
been notified.
COVID-19 positive data reported on this NY State COVID Report Card Site includes students, teachers and staff enrolled in the school district on-site and off-site. This information is either shared by the parent/guardian of the student, notified by teachers and other staff, or communicated by the local health department.
Brewster Education Foundation Technology Challenge Written by Alberta Kozma, President Brewster Education Foundation
The President of the Brewster Education Foundation, Alberta Kozma, is asking for help from the general public with their Technology Challenge. Mr. Timothy Wallach has graciously offered to match donations up tp $5.000 dollars by March 31st.
Mrs. Kozma today issued the following letter to the Community through the Brewster Central School District regarding the challenge:

“This is my favorite night of the week,” said Alicia Manguso, Brewster Schools K-12 English as a New Language (ENL) Specialist.
She was not talking about pizza night or a night for favorite TV. Instead, Manguso was referring to the weekly Parent University meeting she runs via Zoom with Brewster High School Assistant Principal Carlos Rodriguez. The meetings, which are in Spanish, are part of a K-12 initiative that works to engage bilingual parents in Brewster Central School District. To date, they have been well attended and an excellent vehicle for community building.
