Applications are now open for Council’s 2021-22 Community Capital Works Grants Program. Cardinia Shire Council Mayor Councillor Brett Owen said the grants program strengthens our shire by helping community groups to improve community and recreational facilities which in turn supports our community networks and enhances wellbeing. “This program is our way of supporting community organisations to serve our community. “Council’s capital works grants program provides vital assistance to local groups that deliver a wonderful range of services and programs. “We strongly recommend that any groups planning to apply for a grant should contact Council staff – especially if they need support or don’t have prior experience applying for grants. Staff can help with your application and answer any questions you may have,” Cr Owen said.
