at this point, you have an 11th hour allegation. really, a 13th hour allegation if you will, after the hearings were closed. there was a plenty of opportunity to ask judge kavanaugh about thee allegations before they were brought out last week by senator feinstein. what i m troubled by is you have a allegation on paper. at this moment, it is paper. the public heard nothing from the public heard nothing from dr. ford. so it s a paper allegation that looks to me like it is designed to bring down judgesi kavanaugh and ruin his life and reputation. we don t do that in the country without due process. tucker: we do it quite aa bit now i ve noticed. thank you very much. thanks for having me. tucker: over on cnn commentator simone sanders staked out a new position wanting to hear testimony about the allegation of abuse from chrstine blasey ford and they are saying sexual abuse doesn t matter. the republicans on the senate judiciary committee and what republicans in the senate at large
ford. it investigated hill s investigation of sexual harassment against clarence thomas and should investigate this. is it their job or the committee s job? there is confusion about what the fbi does here. the fbi is not conducting a criminal investigation. even if this happened yesterday, if there were a crime it would be state jurisdiction. the fbi would not have that job. the fbi is just helping the senate conduct a background investigation with information about someone. making making determinations about the credibility but not trying to solve crimes. not conducting forensic investigations in a crime. they present that information to the committee. in the kavanaugh case there is no phrenics. forennics. this is 35 years ago.
enough to the therapist? we are in crazy town now. does she have an obligation? that is up to her. she has done more tucker: no it s. no you can t allege a felony and not explain herself. that is not up to her. i have tried to be sensitive. every american citizen who alleges a crime has an obligation against him or herself. she is trying to shed light on her experience with this man. it s one view. tucker: a [laughs] tucker: you are a rapist. just one view. what does a law enforcement official think about the allegation against kavanaugh? we will speak to one after theak break. will it feel like the wheend of a journey?p working, or the beginning of something even better? when you prepare for retirement with pacific life,
has happened. and why would the fbi be in charge? if you want justice you d bring it to police in the maryland. a state with no statute of limitations on sex crimes. how would it end? ford says kavanaugh was a juvenile at the time.? if evidence of guilty emerged would he be tried as a minor? g would the record be sealeded afterwards so it wouldn t overshadow his life? if those sound like up absurd questions, that is because the whole thing is absurd. the democrats don t care about chrstine blasey ford or they wouldn t have ousted her in the first place.dn they care about keeping a republican off the court. that s fine.ut if that is the case, make the case why kavanaugh s ideas are wrong. but don t destroy a man simply because he is in the way. that is what they are doing and the rest of us should stop playing along and say it out loud. christie is joining us. so, first of the question about who cares about christine ford. if you really cared about her
the president s belief there is a deep state working against him. shannon: thank you very much. white house confirmmation team and judge kavanaugh. president trump attorney jay sekulow here live to respond to the democrats s case it s the white house stopping the fbi from investigating. and trace gallagher looks at a stunning sexual assault case. your hair is so soft! did you use head and shoulders two in one? i did mom. wanna try it? yes. it intensely moisturizes your hair and scalp and keeps you flake free. manolo? look at my soft hair. i should be in the shot now too.
