GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) Governor Tony Evers hasn’t given away his intentions in signing or vetoing all or parts of the $87.5 billion state budget sent to his desk this week.
Brett Healy, the President of the MacIver Institute, told WTAQ’s ‘The Morning News with Matt and Earl’ that he thinks the Democratic Governor will ultimately approve the bill devised by the Republican led legislature. It includes a large tax cut totaling around $2.4 billion.
“[I think] he would love to run on the idea that he’s a Democrat who believes in tax cuts,” said Healy. “And there’s still all that federal money coming into the state.”
