A man accused of opening fire on Arcadia police officers responding to a domestic-disturbance call at his family's home striking one officer in the face and sparking an hours-long standoff remained jailed without bail Saturday after being charged with five counts of attempted murder.
A man accused of shooting an Arcadia police officer in the face and wounding two other people, including his 73-year-old mother, during a roughly five-hour standoff was awaiting formal charges Friday while the officer was being treated at a hospital and is expected to recover.
