Man shot and killed by a Wauwatosa Police officer four months ago. Is pushing for answers. Jay andersons family wants the officer to face criminal charges. And will hold a News Conference today. Our Deandra Corinthios has more from the Wauwatosa Police department. Jay andersons family will hold a News Conference this afternoon. They say they want justice. And officer who killed anderson. After learning the same Police Officer was involved in another shooting related death last year sunday andersons family released balloons in wauwatosas madison park. Jay anderson was sitting in a parked car in that park on june 23rd when he was shot. Police say the officer went to investigate the suspicious vehicle. And saw that anderson had a reaching for the weapon. The officer fired. The case is in the hands of the district attorneys office. The family was shown a 20 second clip of the incident. Release. The protesters are demanding justice for the officer involved shooting of Sylville Smith. He was killed by Milwaukee Police officer in august. Smiths death sparked riots in the sherman park neighborhood. And that Milwaukee Police officer who shot smith will go to trial on separate Sexual Assault charges dominique heagganbrown waived his preliminary hearing yesterday. He has not been charged in the Sylville Smith case. Prosecutors say he sexually assau shooting in august. According to the criminal complaint there are three other victims. Smiths family members say the Sexual Assault case should be tied to his use of deadly force. Haegganbrowns arraignment is scheduled for november 4. The District Attorney is still reviewing the Sylville Smith case. The body camera footage has not been released. There is no timeline for a charging decision.
