Briar Cliff Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

Briar Cliff University is pleased to welcome new faculty and staff to campus.
Amy Boland joins Briar Cliff as an Assistant Professor of History. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Medieval and Early Modern Studies from Cornell College, and went on to earn her Master’s in History and Doctorate in Medieval History from St. Louis University. Her research specialty is Christian, Muslim and Jewish cross-cultural relations in medieval Spain, with emphasis on the Dominican Order.
Tonia Abell comes to Briar Cliff as the Human Resources Generalist. An alumni of Briar Cliff’s Business program, she went on to receive her Masters of Science Administration – Human Resources from the University of South Dakota. Abell has a collective 20 years experience in working in state and county government, focusing on employment and human resources.
