Early spring crops were planted on an area of 274,700 hectares, 11.9% of the target. Early spring grain and leguminous crops (excluding maize,
buckwheat and millet) were planted on an area of 245,300 hectares, which is 39.4% of the plan.
Brest Oblast and St. Petersburg are set to intensify cooperation across
the board. Cooperation matters were discussed at a round-table session
at the Brest Oblast Executive Committee.
Annual grasses were planted on 14,700 hectares, which is 8.23% of the
plan. Belarus also embarked on planting flax. This crop was sown on the
area of 870 hectares, which is 1.74% of the plan.
