As many as 53 new resident companies were registered with free economic zones, the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, and the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha in 2022. The total volume of declared investments is $260 million. There are plans to create about 2,700 jobs.
Foreign direct investment on a net basis in Belarusian free economic zones increased 1.7 times in January-September, Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko said reviewing performance of Belarusian free economic zones.
