Moberly Regional Medical Center honors employees for their services

Chad Jaecques, Moberly Regional Medical Center Moberly Regional MedicalCenter Chief Executive Officer Brent Parsons announced several employee awards for their services during the 2020 calendar year. The Directors and Employee of the Year, a DAISY Award, and the March 2021 Employee of the Month were all recognized. Gina Fuemmeler, PharmD, pharmacy director, was named as MRMC s Clinical Director of Year. Linda Schopp, compliance director and interim health information management director, was named the Non-clinical Cirector of the Year. Samantha Thomas, RT(R)(CT)(BD), registered radiology technologist, was named Employee of the Year. Brenda Remole, RN house supervisor, was recently presented a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, and Talara Wagaman, clinic office assistant in Moberly Specialty Group, was named March 2021 Employee of the Month.

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Anglen joins MRMC staff

Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Anglen joins MRMC staff Submitted Moberly Regional Medical Center now has an orthopaedic surgeon joining its medical staff reported Brent Parsons, MRMC Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Jeffrey Anglen, M.D., who comes from the state of Indiana and has been an independent orthopaedic trauma surgeon since 2015, was hired the first week in January to begin his Moberly practice. Anglen will specialize in a variety of surgical and medical treatments at MRMC including:fractures and dislocations, trauma-related musculoskeletal disorders and complications, lower extremity joint replacement, and others. “We are extremely pleased Dr. Anglen decided to join Moberly Regional Medical Center,” Parsons said in a press release statement. “He is highly respected for his work in the field of orthopaedics and his patients choose him for his positive outcomes, excellent care and compassionate bedside manner. Wanda Lou Inglis

Wanda Lou Inglis, 77, of Bolivar took her Heavenly flight on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Denny Inglis. They were united in marriage on Sept. 23, 1959.  She was born Aug. 17, 1943, in Bolivar to Thelma and Pearl “P.A.” Parsons.  She attended Bolivar High School and was in the graduating class of 1961.   In her early years, she worked for the Gospel Publishing House and was a member of “The Parsons Sisters,” a locally known gospel music group with her sisters Shirley Wright and Judy Brakebill, and friend Donna Cole. Together they traveled across the U.S. ministering at churches and recorded two albums.  She also worked at Headquarters for the General Council of the Assembly of God Churches and Hackers Dental Office in Bolivar.
