Berryville went on the road to defeat Lincoln 72-34 on Monday, Dec. 21, then followed up the next night with a 60-29 victory over Kingston at Bobcat Arena. “It was good to get two more wins before Christmas and finish on a high note,” Berryville coach Brent Compton said. “We’re really proud of our kids.”

The Bobcats won on the road at Bergman by a score of 71-68 on Tuesday, Dec. 1, then beat Class 6A Bentonville West 74-68 at Bobcat Arena on Friday, running their record to 7-0. “Two huge wins against two really good teams,” Berryville coach Brent Compton said Monday. “Our kids just … I couldn’t be more proud of them. They played outstanding.” Senior guard Landon Chester scored 29 points in the victory over Bergman, then added 26 more against Bentonville West. “Landon’s just doing his thing,” Compton said. “He’s shooting it well. He’s making good decisions. He’s finishing strong around the rim, and he makes free throw. He’s just turned into a great player.”
