HOLYOKE The Ward 2 seat on the Holyoke City Council has been vacated after the city’s law department determined that its occupant, Wilmer Puello-Mota, had run afoul of the city charter.Puello was arrested on May 11 for violating his bail in a case.
HOLYOKE After missing three months of City Council meetings while he was incarcerated in Rhode Island, Ward 2 City Councilor Wilmer “Will” Puello-Mota was present at a council subcommittee meeting on Wednesday night.And Puello said in an interview.
HOLYOKE When Wilmer “Will” Puello-Mota first ran for the City Council in 2019, two of the signatures on his nomination papers drew the suspicion of employees of the city clerk’s office. That’s because those people said they had never signed Puello’s.
