SPEARFISH, S.D. The United Methodist Church in Spearfish saw a lot of faces they had been missing during the pandemic as it held Easter service in person this year.
Social distancing and masks are still present as more people get used to going back out in public.
Dave and Brenda Swanson, members of the United Methodist Church, said, “Kinda cool to be in the sanctuary today. It was probably one of the bigger crowds we’ve been able to see. With people still kind of in masks and that kind of stuff you know taking the cautions and things. But you know it was just really kinda nice to see that crowd. And first of April it sort of feels like everything sorta opening up and starting over brand new.”
