The "community lighthouses," which are being planned and built in 16 locations in New Orleans as well as eight spots outside the city, are expected to help the most vulnerable people in a neighborhood within 24 hours of a power outage.
More than 60 bags of trash and more than a dozen bulk items were carted away from the Hollygrove-Dixon area on Saturday (Oct. 8), the Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office reported.
