Parents have been praising the teachers and schools who have gone above and beyond to help children in Greater Manchester throughout lockdown. As executive headteacher Chris Hanson praised families and staff at Corpus Christi RC Primary in Chadderton, Oldham, for pulling together amid the pandemic, we asked parents to tell us who they wanted to thank - and we were inundated with suggestions.

this is the cbs evening news with scott pelley. pelley: good evening. the internal revenue service admitted today that some of its employees targeted conservative political groups for extra scrutiny, in violation of its own policy and despite its earlier denials. the groups were applying for tax-exempt status. the i.r.s. says that the agency found out about the targeting last year. now the inspectors general of the treasury department and the i.r.s. are investigating and so is chip reid. reporter: tom zawistowski is head of the portage county, ohio, tea party which applied for tax-exempt status with the i.r.s. in 2009. it was really a nightmare. reporter: he says over three years he was repeatedly asked for more documents, totaling thousands of pages. they came back with requests for give us a list of all your members. tell us every politician that ever spoke to your group and what they spoke about. give us a list of all the speakers you ve ever had speak to you
