Bremen Highway lane reduction for repairs By: Matt Nagy
MISHAWAKA, Ind. A construction project has been announced for Bremen Highway that will reduce the roadway from four lanes to two lanes between the US 20 Bypass and Walter Street beginning Tuesday.
Repairs needed for the Buckeye Pipeline in that location are estimated to be active from Tuesday until July 12.
In this construction area, all northbound lanes will be closed and the two southbound lanes will be split to allow traffic to flow in both directions.
Traffic signs will be in place to warn and direct traffic while construction lasts.

Police and the fire department responded to a call of a car on Fire on the Bypass near Bremen Highway and the Meijer Exit in St. Joseph County on Sunday, according to dispatch.
The call came around 10:30 p.m.
Dispatch says no injuries have been reported and the scene is no longer active. Share this article:
